Every Parish Council is governed by Standing Orders which dictate items such as

  • Meeting procedures, regulations and rules of debate
  • Responsibilities of Councillors
  • Appointment of a Proper Officer
  • Committees
  • Freedom of information

Additionally evey Parish Council is goverend by Finanical Regulations which cover how the parish council manages the finances.

Other standard documents that a Parish Council will hold and regularly review includes an Asset Register, a Risk Analysis and the Code Of Conduct which all members must adhere to.

There is also a copy of the insurance schedule.

As part of GDPR there is a Data Protection Policy and a privacy policy These policies are reviewed on a reqular basis, as you will see in the minutes of the council.
